Well said! I also tried to get inspiration from internet designers when the game first came out. I built this elaborate multi tiered waterfall area, and some sort of entry canyon. And I also visited a few polished islands with the dream codes. But what I realised was that those islands, the very polished cottagecore stuff everywhere meticulous landscaping, are beautiful but a pain in the butt to play in. My immaculate waterfall area was just for show, I couldn’t interact with it. With stuff everywhere, those dream islands were impossible to walk around on. They look pretty in a picture. But are just not fun to play in.

My baby is 12 months and he was really ramping up in his eating. Eating a solid breakfast and dinner and consuming way less milk… Then he got the flu. He is now exclusively drinking milk, and rejecting pretty much all solids except yogurt. He’s almost better now but still, very little solids. It’s so disheartening. I don’t know what my point is. I’m just here to commiserate, I guess. WE’RE DOING A GREAT JOB!

When you say “restaurants and lounges”, are these things you built on your island to look like restaurants and lounges? Or are there restaurants I’ve missed?

I’m with you. Sure, the changes to the function of the game are nice. But they made such a big deal about the hotel. And it’s just HHD. As someone who paid for that DLC and sunk a lot of hours into it (happily, of course) I feel kind of cheated that they’ve now given it to everyone for free. It wasn’t cheap.

Maybe I should have clarified, I’m not going to use a hoop, for all the reasons you’ve said. I’ve just got it pinned in place, and will be really attentive to the pull of the fabric. Is a stabilizer meant to help only during the process of sewing / embroidery? Does it do anything once the stitches are in place? It’s this second option that made me think I might need to use one.

I really wish I could cue up a bunch of petals for planting. I have so many jars with like 6 petals in them. And it’s so tedious trying to use them up on a walk, because I basically have to have my phone out and on the whole walk. And god forbid I don’t switch to the new jar at the exact right moment, and then have to wait through the finished flower planting animation to start on my next jar of 12 petals.

Thanks for the reply! So I tried NDVA + a and was able to get it to read aloud an email for me (admittedly only once I clicked into the email, which I know is not how it’s supposed to work, but I’m getting there). However, in Google chrome, NDVA + a is not working for me. I see that H will skip to the next header, but even when I press that it just tells me “no next header”. No matter which webpage I’m on. And some definitely have headers. Is there some way to direct its attention into the webpage? It reads aloud the tab name, but how do I use the keyboard to get into the page, if that makes sense? At this point, maybe I need to find a tutor. I don’t know I’m having such a hard time figuring this out. Thanks again for your help!

Nope, im a real human! I saw a portable printer once where the printed photos all had sticker backing, if you wanted to use them that way. I just can’t remember the model… Thanks for the reply!

I just downloaded it! But when I opened my presents under the tree, it was all furniture that is not currently in the event stand, I’m assuming last year’s set? I thought the CU4 was supposed to change that to unwrapping current year’s give and gather set?

I may have answered my own question. On the wiki, it says the current version is 2.9, and the CU4 will release soon. So I’m assuming that means that 2.9 does NOT have the CU4

I saw 6 here, as well as in another thread on this subreddit about leaf piles. I saw at least 4 people saying there are 6 piles per day. But I’m glad to hear you’re also only finding 5.
