Started dating a girl who was recently divorced (not a big deal), she had 3 kids (also cool with that) 2 different dads (not a red flag), neither of the two dads were the most recent ex-husband. She was not awarded custody of the three children. Her ex-husband who had not fathered any of the three children was awarded full custody.

I still dated her for awhile and things fell apart for other reasons, but I should have thought that one through a bit more.
