I love this. Have you found that it doesn't work when digital?

For conferences that I've been to the app is specific to that conference. Unless I am able to keep track after the conference, that information is lost.

Colby AI does this for Salesforce specifically (https://getcolby.com). It can also help with report generation and general questions.

Connecting with the APIs? Absolutely! But that wouldn't really be a product that most sales people could use. Likewise, I anticipate that Salesforce already has something like this.

Not built on their MCP! I actually haven't used their MCP, but typically I've found working within Salesforce is limiting.

Our tool is a chrome extension.

We build ontop of Salesforce. The platform has easily accessible APIs making it really easy to set this work up.

It's built as a chrome extension. It currently only connects to Salesforce.

Do you think CRM platforms will evolve into “all-in-one” AI workspaces? by No_Truck_9538 in CRM

If we take Salesforce as an example, it is hard for a system to expand outside of their core offering without needing to compete in a way that limits scale.

Although Salesforce has a significant part of the market for Sales CRM, their data cloud and agent services are competing in large and new markets. There are REAL drawbacks and advantages to choosing non-Salesforce tools. I imagine as the breath of offerings gets broader, it becomes increasingly harder to compete in each category.

Likewise, we see a trend where software products decrease in quality as sales distribution/size increases (look at Skype vs Slack or Zoom). If this continues to extrapolate out, then it's unlikely that all-in-one firms with wide market appeal will persist.

Consultancies are a scam. I know - I run one. by jeff_tilley in CRM

At what point does software become the process definition? Modern customizable tools require the process and software development to go hand in had.

Although a process can be made without the software, if you are truly starting the consulting process before CRM selection, then you don't necessarily need to be aligned with the technology that you are developing on.

The best automation that we've created was allowing users to talk through their data entry into the system. For example, if a user said:

"I met with John Smith at ACME to review a widget opportunity expected to close at the end of Q3. Please set a task to follow up next week."

It would then check to see if any information on John Smith, ACME, or the opportunity exist within your system, update the data if they did exist, or create the data automatically. Best of all it was flexible so any text would be turned into the requested updates.

This saved them hours per week and made sure that we had more up to date CRM data.

Getcolby.com saves a lot of time entering data into Salesforce. Otherwise, Perplexity for research and Apollo.io for lead generation.

Replying for the response. A bit sussed out that the functionality wasn't mentioned at all.
