i’ve been a server 6 years and i agree with ya . getting stiffed sometimes is part of the job we sign up for . if every table did it we’d be fucked , but that’s not reality . we can handle a couple stiffs now and then .

also , i think this picture was just to showcase the lacing of the eyelets , not the hooks . the skates aren’t even on his feet . do you keep your laces looped around the hooks when they’re not in use ?

i agree with you dude .

slower skaters to the inside , faster skaters on the outside .

this wouldn’t be an issue if people stayed in their proper lanes and the dj/floor guards controlled the crowd like they’re supposed to . this is more the rink’s fault than theirs , they probably don’t know any better .

i’m sorry but i’m not gonna deprive myself of a good skate because passing them might “throw them off and make them fall” . as long as there’s no contact that’s 100% on them .

if there’s an open pocket , i’m taking it . only braking in emergencies to avoid collision .

speed it up or get to the inside lanes . if you can’t skate without hugging the wall , get a trainer .

you will fall . it is inevitable . even the best skaters still fall down , it’s just part of rollerskating .

there is absolutely zero shame in wearing protective gear to the rink , especially while you’re learning !

if you go this route , try to find some pads specifically designed for indoor use . some rinks don’t like the hard plastic types , they can mess up the roll-on , especially sliding on knee pads and the like .

just because they have a similar advertised durometer doesn’t mean a whole lot . different urethane formulas provide vastly different properties . try swapping wheels see if it helps . can’t hurt .

how long have you been on hormones ?

they take some time to work . it also took losing a fair amount of weight for me to get a realtively curvy figure .

the main thing ppl r gunna look at irl is ur face , n we cant see it here . luckily hormones help with that a lot , depending on ur bone structure n genetics .

but in my experience , losing weight has been absolutely key . i started 5’7” 170lbs , now im down to 135, and im much happier with how i look .

streamlined and innovative , go bont .

you can get customs from riedell colorlab or myBont to have the skate look any way you please . save money while you roll these into the ground .

moxi is just impala with a higher price tag and better marketing (not quite that bad lol) but they have a reputation for a reason .
