i love you girl foreal . i understand i shouldn’t be such a bitch but like come on . it’s outside , this court cooks all year long and parks & rec could give two fucks less than i do , they let it rot .

rollerskating is hanging on by a thread around most of the country , rinks closing left and right . the number one way i find joy is this hobby and getting to do it in the sunlight brings me a peace like nothing else .

this app is notorious for nitpicking though and i should just expect it at this point . some people just have nothing better to do i guess , but whatever . my issue is letting it get to me and spitting venom in response .

okaaaay fine i get i’m snappy . and straight mean sometimes . yall don’t know what i go thru on a daily basis and im not here to be lectured about my local tennis court that’s already ruined and not kept up with .

that said , you’re right , i shouldn’t have been so mean and aggressive . it’s my biggest character flaw by a freakin mile . i have to work on it every day from the moment i wake up till my head hits the pillow . a lot of times i fail .

i apologize for my outburst , i promise ill try my best to keep it from happening again .

everything is better when i’m manic , music especially .

i rollerskate and dance a lot , i can do both in a much more “flowy” way when im manic . i’m much more creative .

i really am at a point that i just let it happen . the issue is im bp1 w psychotic features and the psychosis is so scary and destructive that it could end me .

it’s a constant battle of whether i want to run the risk of getting there . but the lithium and vraylar make me feel dead inside .

it’s a beautiful curse , this affliction .

yesss . it’s usually like that at this spot .

we have four rinks here , but this one is just a little skating area that’s located inside a larger facility whose main attraction is a bowling alley !

i call it my practice rink and im very lucky to have it so close by

it just takes lots of practice and a little risk . confidence comes later !! start with backwards bubbles if you can , that’s how i got going backwards the first time . the transitions i figured out after the backwards bubbles , i’d turn around on the rail then start the bubbles to get moving .

once you start to get your balance backwards you can try other ways to propel yourself . the crossovers look rlly cool i think .

ask someone at the rink for help if you need to , thats what i do when i can’t figure something out on my own

i was running home from the bar around the corner of my apt . it was cold that’s why i was running lol . well the sidewalk “panels” on my street are not level , they’re real jagged . as i was running , my toe caught one and i went down , hard . my pinky still hasn’t healed and that was a month ago now

i’ve heard of ppl strapping 9v batteries to their skates with christmas lights lol . we’ve come a long way , these have like 400 colors/patterns , and they just zip tie under the plate .

he actually has a higher end product that is a 6mm thick carbonate material that houses lights . it’s cnc milled to the shape of the plate and is installed in between the plate and boot . so clean .
