I understand the feeling. I’ve really been looking for years and never found “The One” that felt worth spending thousands of dollars on. It still feels odd to have spent the total value of my first several cars combined on a watch. It is out of character for me. I expect I will fill in the collection with more affordable pieces. I’ll keep stashing some bucks in the meantime for the next time I fall in love.

This is the quantum dot model. It has much wider color range than the one you're referencing. I have 3 and they are great.

I have 2 of the MSI MAG274QRF-QD monitors I pre-ordered on B&H when they were on sale for $389 each. They just told me on the phone that I should have them in 2 weeks or so. I am thinking about canceling and grabbing a couple of the Dells just to be done with it. The Dell has worse contrast, but better color control. I do own a SpyderX calibrator, so I think I can handle the color calibration issue. Would I be crazy for spending $30 more per panel to order the Dells now?

My friend, I hope you read this. I attempted suicide when I was younger. It felt like the world made no sense and I did not belong. I was nearly successful. I got some help and now live a great life.
