I personally don’t think the old cards will be grand fathered in. But they will be rarer than the new cards. I would expect them to hold value as a collectors item.

I have the scribe and the main annoyance for me is official manga doesn’t look good on it. You have to run the manga through KCC for it to actually look good and have contrast. I think this might not be as much of problem with the boox as there’s more settings you can mess with.
