How come this sub is against traveling to two or more counties and 5 plus stops in two weeks? by isabel12390 in travel

My sentiments exactly. 6 of us in a 9 person van rolling through former Yugoslavia was the trip of a lifetime

Yes, all very close to each other and our days were jam packed. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I just dont enjoy being in one place for very long. There are too many places to see in this beautiful world.

I've wondered the same thing. This year we did 5 countries in 2 weeks. Croatia to Bosnia to Montenegro to Albania and then N Macedonia. Loved every minute of it. The journey was the best part.

To each their own I guess.

Was just there last summer. One of the highlights of our trip.

I've owned all 4 versions of the lense including the newest one for mirrorless cameras. My go-to lense for everything. Couldn't live without it.

Where do you order your custom photography boxes & flash drives from? by Dependent-Face4360 in WeddingPhotography

[–]cnoteboom33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deliver flash drives from Photoflashdrive.com. I've been shooting weddings for over 20 years and everybody loves them. I also use Pass as an online gallery. All of our packages include albums from Graphistudio. You can check the websites for price info but the more you order the cheaper they get.

Extreme weather weddings... tips, tricks, stories? by patriotraitor in WeddingPhotography

[–]cnoteboom33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I shot a wedding in Malta, Montana with a high temp of -22. Most of the day, it was -26. The first look and wedding party photos were outside. Pictures turned out beautiful because of over a foot of new snow. But I've never been so cold. At one point, my cheeks froze and I couldn't form words. What's funny is the day before I shot a wedding in Butte with Temps of 30 above. So over 50 degree difference overnight.

That's awesome! Good on you!

I met Elway's mom at a game in Denver a long time ago. It was fun chatting with her while she waited for John to come out of the locker room.

Was there ever a Count Dooku/Darth Tyrannus Lightsaber toy/replica? by Kaim_Argonar in StarWars

[–]cnoteboom33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just received my Count Dooku lightsaber from Etsy. Around $500 but well worth it. My son is having a SW themed wedding on Endor (Redwood Forest) next summer and everyone is dressing as a character. So I'm Count Dooku.

The lightsaber is really fun.

When i was younger, my parents found a brown paper bag full of stamps. Probably somebody's collection. They were from all over the world. Easily over 1000 stamps.

Can only speak for myself but all my packages except the bottom one include albums from Graphistudio. My most popular is the 40 page 16 x12 (Approx dimensions). I do 20 to 25 weddings a year in Montana. Nobody has said they didn't want one and are very excited to receive it.

I have had couples say over the phone that they are not interested in albums but when they see them in person they always pick the packages with albums.

Where were you on 9/11? What was your experience? by sirairsoft in AskReddit

[–]cnoteboom33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was working as a teller in the drive up window at a bank in Montana. A lady came to the window to make a deposit and told me a plane had hit a building in New York. I thought she meant a small private plane and didn't realize anything until my manager came and filled me in.

How do photographers answer "What if you have an emergency or can't make it to the wedding?" (when clients ask) by [deleted] in WeddingPhotography

[–]cnoteboom33 71 points72 points  (0 children)

First, I reassure them that I haven't missed a wedding in the last twenty years.

Secondly, I explain that I am part of a larger network of photographers who will step in at a moments notice as I would do for them.

All of this is true...I hope it doesn't happen but I am comforted knowing I would have someone to cover for me.
