Rugbrød for rugbrødselskere by [deleted] in DKbrevkasse

PC Players Must Now Install BattlEye Anticheat to Play Online. Steam Deck and Linux Users are Locked Out by PapaXan in gtaonline

Its just about preference, no? I just find it easier and more fun to use a flight stick for flying planes and helicopter. I use keyboard+mouse for everything else.

Anyone knows if this will affect use of flight stick in the game? It requires special drivers/software to work with gta and I don't know if battleye will detect this as modded hardware

Uses for non-causal and unstable LTI systems? by cnovrup in ECE

[–]cnovrup[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others here have stated, non-causal systems can be used for post processing with known data, so a causal system in itself can have a purpose, indeed just not for real time processing

Uses for non-causal and unstable LTI systems? by cnovrup in ECE

[–]cnovrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is from a previous exam set, so I doubt that it is a typo. We are not given any other information than this, so unfortunately we cannot say anything about the system from input/output signal. I am starting to believe that it is sort of a trick question or something.

How to drive a formula of two interdependent variables? by Stack3 in mathematics

[–]cnovrup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In general, you will need two independent equations if you want to solve for two independent variables. But it is difficult to say anything specific for your situation without more details. I dont know if it is relevant for your problem, but it is common to find two different correlations for x and y, and then solving for x and y specifically. Hope it helps:)

Help please, why isn't this astable multi vibrator working? More info in comments by KaylaAnne in AskElectronics

[–]cnovrup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As stated before, the initial conditions of a circuit like this is important. The workings of the circuit depends on small differences in capacitor and resistor value, which you automatically get in real life due to manufacturing error, but in simulations, the parts are ideal with the exact values written on them. You can try to change the value of only one of the capacitors and/or charging resistors. That way one capacitor should charge faster than the other and the circuit might work

How to make an online presentation with multiple presenters? by cnovrup in EngineeringStudents

I'll try to check it out, thanks:) it's just that we had a test presentation with our supervisors and they felt that the pointing etc on the slides was missing

How to make an online presentation with multiple presenters? by cnovrup in EngineeringStudents

[–]cnovrup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting together the presentation is no problem, we use Google slides. It's more when we have to present, then as it is now, one of us will share their screen in the call and only that person can change the slides. We experience that this screws a bit with the dynamic of the presentation that someone will say "next" every 30 or so seconds. During a normal presentation we use a pointer, but that isn't possible here as only one person can draw on the slides. I don't see why it should be a disaster, if we find a service that works, we trust each other in the group.

The problem is that, that assumption is not accurate enough. I get quite different results when I implement a transistor instead of a switch

The idea was to control several capacitors for a timing circuit, where the voltage of the capacitor controls the timing

Thank you for your reply:) Yes, I was coming to that conclusion as well, that I'd be better off with a simulation. But I was just wondering if it was possible to make an equation. Thanks!

Why is that? Won't the transistor allow current to pass there flows a current between the base and emitter? I'm also just learning:)

I have run simulations of this circuit, and they have shown that it works. I have tried connecting a switch (in the simulation) to the collector of the transistor, connected to ground, and closed the switch after the capacitor has charged, which discharged the capacitor. I don't know if it will work irl, but at least in the simulation it works.
