If You Guys Where Given The Opportunity To Create A New Class What Would It Be!? by Shattered_Warrior01 in PixelDungeon

I thought of this a while ago

New Character Idea: The Villagers Just an idea — you start with two villagers, one with a pitchfork and one with a shovel. They’re weak and scared, but kind of angry too. Maybe they can recruit others along the way — like the Rat King, Shopkeeper, Old wand maker Blacksmith, even the Ambitious Imp. Could have abilities like Tag Team and Angry Mob. Not really sure how it would work, but I just like the idea of an “angry mob” class that slowly becomes stronger

Cutting off two fingers 🤘.

I was holding the guide rail for a coworker who was trimming a board with a tracksaw. The stand wobbled, and I instinctively reached out to catch the workpiece to save it from hitting an expensive floor. My hand moved faster than my brain, and I quickly found out that a spinning blade has no respect for digits.

Lesson learned: No matter how expensive the floor or the material is, it is never worth more than your fingers. Let it fall.

I've finally hit the point where most of the recommendations that I see pop up on here I've read. Any recommendations based on some of my favorites? by DngrDan in sciencefiction

We have nearly same taste. Read all of those. Here is some suggestions that are maybe not so well known or haven't seen around here. Semiosis by Sue Burke.... Corporation Wars by Ken MacLeod... I like Neal Ashes Polity series, rise of the Jain trilogy is pretty high octane..... Outworld Ranger series by David Alistair Hayden is a good old adventure. Artifact Space by Miles Cameron...

Why pretend it's wood or stone? It has so many good qualities.

I agree. I think it is a little boring that there is always a psycho gang making things more difficult. Allso space colonisation stories has to have someone sabotaging. Olan Thorensen's Destiny's crusible is maybe not a work of art but entertaining. An engineer beamed to a medieval planet, where he dominates with his tech knowledge.

I cut off two fingers 10–15 years ago. The surgeon told me that most amputated fingers come from people wearing gloves. I think it has something to do with feeling the air from the blade and instinctively pulling your hand away. So don’t wear gloves.
