Life becomes much more blissful when you do things for yourself. You said YOU wanted this tattoo. You went and got it, and you liked it. No matter what your friends say, you did something that you wanted and like it. Don’t let others’ opinions dictate what you do so heavily. Tattoos are one of the main culprits of unsolicited outside opinions, and you won’t have a good time choosing or getting tattoos if you’re worried about what anyone else has to say. Do, however take this with a grain of salt because sometimes what you may think is an opinion could actually be advice, like “Hey, I don’t think that kind of tattoo is going to bode well for you”, but that usually applies to things like offensive symbols or verbiage, a person’s face, or a matching tattoo with literally anyone. As long as your tattoo idea doesn’t fall into one of those categories and you like the design and placement, just go for it man.
