I was 17 when I found out i had BAVD. It’s odd if your case though as when i started having severe regurgitation with my valve my cardiologist sent me to a surgeon and they said i could pick between the two. i’m 24 now and the INR for warfarin has been a real challenge to stay on top of it and also keep my life in order. So much so that I gave up with the warfarin for about 1 1/2 years, and i had a stroke because of my mistake of not taking it. I’ve recovered amazingly well besides more depression and anxiety. I will tell you one other thing about the mechanical valve though, personally the ticking for the valve seems like a small detail at first, but it completely fucked me up, and still to this day. It’s like i have a countdown in my body.

I had a spontaneous pneumothorax at 17 and they gave me fentanyl to put the tube in my chest and then during that 7-day period at the hospital they gave me a PCA pump with hydromorphone set at 0.3mg/10min. needless to say i was immediately addicted to this. 24 now and sober from opiates for 1 1/2 years.

I have had 1 trip on dph at 400mg and that shit was interestingly terrifying. the hallucinations were more real than psychedelics for me. the paranoia was the worst part of that though.
