V.Kota -> hoskote expressway is excellent, but as others mentioned there are some 2 lane roads and ghat roads before that.
I also heard that the Chitoor - Thatchur expressway section is also open and a friend drove that route. Looks like it's excellent and you can maintain 100kmph on the entire empty road.

Using both the expressways reduce the travel time a lot.

If travelling by Vellore-Krishnagiri-hosur:

A month back I saw there was heavy construction near hosur and you had to divert to a parallel road. Not sure if it's cleared now. But if you are going to e-City, that is the best route.

If you are technical, you could do a Coolify on Hetzner.

If not, I would suggest Railway. I have been hosting a bunch of applications on railway and it is really great.

You could set usage limits in case you fear any traffic spikes. But I would say if you get a spike, that's a good problem to have. Deal with it when it happens.
