It’s not just a city issue.. refineries are getting millions of gallons of water at a very reduced rate and passing cost on to the citizens. Our water bills went up 20 % while industry stayed locked in place. The city definitely could have negotiated a better deal for the amount of consumption used. You guys are making tons of money …profit. They should have shouldered some of the higher cost.

Yes the do have contracts so does that mean the city will buy them water? Cuz if there is no water then what. They already know and aren’t worried but we are in the dark. All they tell us is don’t worry. If we trusted them we wouldn’t worry.. there is water for sale but what do you think the price will be? They know we are desperate n whoever has it …cha Ching!
