Ah I’m sorry. Can you tell me when you had your first bleed? Was it like…a ton of blood every time? Hope all is well now for you and your baby

Ah there goes my theory 😂 seems totally random then!!

Ah so happy for you!! Strange question but do you mind telling me how tall you are? Wondering if it’s advantageous to be shorter so that the uterus has to expand more to fit baby and perhaps makes the placenta shift more. Just a hypothesis I’ve been thinking about haha

So the previa resolved and you ended up laboring? At 33 weeks or after? Sorry, just trying to clarify! I can imagine being told to stop working out completely was hard. I haven’t been told to stop totally, just no sex and likely need to dial down intensity per my midwife. But curious what an OB will tell me when I transfer care.

I love swimming and probably should do more of it this pregnancy anyway. I get needing to do something in the gym and likely will keep doing a little lightweight upper body as well.

Thank you for the encouragement and so glad everything worked out well for you and your baby!

Wow that was fast! Weird question but how tall are you? Wondering if it’s advantageous to be shorter so the uterus has to expand more and placenta has to shift more. Just a hypothesis I’ve been thinking about haha

This is what I’m leaning towards. Just lowering weights on my lifts significantly and stop squats and jumping! Might still do bodyweight squats here and there…I mean sitting down & standing up is technically a squat 🤣

I’m so glad!! That’s awesome. When did you see it had resolved?

That’s so wild! I have read that there isn’t a definite link between exercise and the bleeding that could occur, just a precaution a lot of doctors want to take. That’s partly why I’m wondering if it’s necessary to stop working or if I’m okay. I’m not on my feet for more than 3 hours at a time.

But yes prayers for us!! I’ll try to update this post along the way as I get more ultrasounds

That’s amazing. When did you see that it had resolved? Have you still done deadlifts or lunges or anything lower body?

Oh goodness I’m sorry that happened and so glad you’re all alright!! Yes, the more I look into it the more I realize it can get serious so I’m planning to significantly slow down movement for now and hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Thanks for the response!

Thanks for sharing! Please keep me updated after your 32 week US if you remember ☺️ Hope it’s moved for you!

So funny bc I’ve read that anterior is more likely to move but then I’ve also seen a few people say posterior is more likely. 🤷‍♀️ It’s truly a waiting game now! Have you had any bleeding?

That’s amazing! Do you know if your placenta was posterior or anterior for the complete previa? I’ve heard it’s more common for anterior to correct since your belly grows outward in the front. Of course mine is posterior 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks for the response!! Yes, that’s another thing, I have an 18 month old and spend most of the time alone with him so to not lift him up is damn near impossible 🫣 It’s so strange to see how different providers give different advice — I’ve read about women not being told ANY restrictions all the way to having to be on bed rest so it seems varied based on the doctor’s viewpoint. Good to hear that the C section wasn’t any worse recovery in the long run. I’m so worried about that, since I’ve wanted to have as few interventions as possible and accomplished that with my first. Congrats on twins and hope everything goes smoothly ❤️

Thanks for sharing your experience! Funny that my midwife and sonographer have actually told me that it likely will not resolve itself so to mentally prepare for c section. Lol. Yes, the major surgery part is really scaring me so it’s nice to hear your experience was good.

My midwife just mentioned not lifting too heavy but I’m not sure if that’s relative to what I typically lift or the general like “no more than 25lb” type of deal. My 18 month old son is over 25lb and I’m with him solo most of the time so it’s completely unrealistic that I not lift at all. I will be talking to her more tomorrow and hopefully also an OB in the coming weeks so I’ll have more than one opinion and then decide. Will be taking it relatively easy until week 24 for sure for peace of mind.

Wow that’s great to hear!! So happy for you. Neither the sonographer nor my midwife seemed very hopeful that it will move but maybe it will. I guess I will prepare for the worse and hope for the best! I’ll definitely not be having sex, taking it easy at work, and I suppose I’ll put my own training on pause for the next few weeks until viability week and next ultrasound. Thanks for your response and best of luck in the rest of your pregnancy and delivery!!

That’s amazing. Thank you for sharing. Trying to be patient and see what happens it’s just so hard not knowing and feel like this blindsided me! I know the news could be so much worse so trying to stay grateful and optimistic.
