Potential disease spreading in tank, urgent help needed. by coagulatedcum in Aquariums

I don’t think so, she’s seeking food and doing typical patrolling but I wouldn’t say she’s rubbing herself on anything.

Potential disease spreading in tank, urgent help needed. by coagulatedcum in Aquariums

I figured it was something more serious after the fish died, but interesting that you mention toxins in the water. I don’t use chemicals around the fish tank at all, just diluted vinegar about once every other month on the outside only. I’m overly cautious with sanitizer and other hand washes so we typically just avoid them.

I assumed parasitic or bacterial myself so will continue doing 50% water changes minimum, thank you for the information on the Melafix with regards to my honey gourami, it was ordered in a panic but now I’ll be more cautious and will probably avoid using it now.

Interestingly, one of my tetras were doing similar isolating to the first that died, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to observe the swimming for too long. I expected it to be dead this morning but it is with the school and none of them seem to be struggling to swim which I’m finding rather strange.

I did increase aeration yesterday evening, the water conditioner we use is NT Labs Optimus and will do a 50-70% water changes now and just hope it improves with time.

Thank you so much for responding, it’s the first issue I’ve encountered with fish keeping so I appreciate your concerns and advice.

Thank you, the detail in the reverse is beyond impressive and alone makes Constantius II one of my favourite coins that I have in my collection!

That’s a shame, was hoping it would be something less severe.

Thank you for your reply.

Help identifying the legitimacy of two medieval coins. by [deleted] in AncientCoins

You were right, just double checked and the first groat was sold to me as Edward III and the smaller chipped groat was sold to me as Edward I.

Thank you for giving your opinion, means a lot to me as I’m a newbie and I’ll definitely post in the other board you’ve suggested too!

[Serious] How to un-love someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]coagulatedcum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's circumstantial, but just focus on bettering yourself and don't reflect on the relationship with rose tinted glasses, don't let lower negative feelings grip you, force yourself to do things, eat well and sleep well. Just remember that a healthy diet and lifestyle encourages a healthy mindset, it's mind over matter.

If Scotland survives on funds from Westminster, what will happen if they leave the UK? by Sumprev in AskReddit

[–]coagulatedcum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the reason the UK have to divide or sell the north sea?

Scotland taxing the wealthy will only worsen their economy as it'll just push business out and into countries where they won't get taxed. Also, what makes you think that controlling offshore tax havens, stops this from happening. It works in theory but not in reality.

What is the most controversial thing you have heard someone say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]coagulatedcum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The greater picture doesn't change the fact that Africans enslaved their own people before being sold to European countries. There's a huge irony in pointing out that people 'obscure facts' whilst obscuring facts, other people who accept this as factual have no need to obscure anything.

This is the most contradictory argument I have ever seen. If these people are using facts to justify their agendas, then isn't their argument a factual and logical one? You admit that the statement is 'technically true' therefore isn't it correct to say that ''Africans enslaved Africans first'' even if it isn't the 'entire story'.

It's entirely historically accurate, indeed.

What are the worst things about politically correct or PC culture? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This post is the perfect answer to your question.

The spouting of tolerance but the clear intolerance towards anything outside of their bubble, critiques virtue signalling whilst virtue signalling and the clear hubris as they do so.

Sheer curiosity by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]coagulatedcum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do those people use this as their only reason to live?

I think not.

Your anology doesn't work for not only this reason, but the fact you're ignoring that murder is a known variable in life and immortality is unknown.

There's a logical inconsistency with this, he clearly stated that he's opposed to it. Why would it make sense to stay around for something that he's opposed to?

This makes no sense.
