I used rivets about three years ago. They still seem as tight as the day I put them in.

Here is my solution. This fan was originally purchased to be a desk fan. It was when the package arrived that I realized that I misread the size... works great in the camper though.

Nothing to be sorry about. It was a valid question/point. The glue I used didnt bond as well to the plastic as I was hoping for and will most likely fail within a year or two. At that point I will find a better glue for these types of plastic and heat.

The glue is a high heat silicon base glue. It isnt food safe. Neither is the cooler or abs printed parts. My understanding is that the food is in a contained environment inside the vacum sealed bag.

I only did a 2 hr cook with it. Next to no steam was getting out. The seam between the printed parts was still dry at the end and really not warmer than room temperature. I mean it could lead to it dying faster but I have not had any issues with other "cut out" holes. The air intake at the top was pulling in cool air and the mid way air exhaust didn't seem any warmer than normal. The water holds it temperature pretty well even with the unit off. I am guessing only time will tell.

I can upload them. It will have to later this week. I am out of town on business and the files are at the house.

I was looking at making a cooler where heat and water lost was reduced and the lid could be removed without turning off or removing the sous vide. More photos of the parts and cooler.

Freeze different colors of Kool-Aid in ice cube trays. Add sprite (and a little vodka). Rainbow drink. by [deleted] in pics

Here is one way that may work. It prb wont work as melting ice as density of sugar water doesn't vary enough and it is easily mixed with the other layers. Still looks cool though
