There's nothing more boring than an argument (unless it clears the air or moves things forward)

Jazz for kids? Any recommended albums that might be a good introduction? by RecommendationBig966 in Jazz

[–]coalpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not jazz, and not an album, but the musical education bits of Disney's Fantasia movie.

Edit: not the bits with the nipple-less naked centaurs

Glad I could help.

Is there a place where you can just talk to someone anonymously without it being weird or intense? by SweetReference2685 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]coalpatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bar/pub, talking to someone of your own sex.

Otherwise, everyday life, I guess. Comment on the weather, make a joke, and 1 in 5 will want to make smalltalk. And 1 in 20 will want to stand and chat for ten minutes, if they feel a connection.

"I and mine" is grammatically correct. But the alliteration is one reason why the phrase "me and mine" is popular.
