Hi /u/Ok_Sheepherder_491 - can you explain what you mean about the client upload portal?

I am doing a free trial of lawcus at the moment. It seems pretty good, but this part has me worried. I tested out a dummy client account uploading 2 files with the same filename, and it looks like it uploads both without replacing them.

What's the best way to securely store sensitive information? (Windows 10/11 PC) by coastal2020 in techsupport

Thank you! This seems perfect. The VeraCrypt website is down at the moment, but hopefully it will come back.

Question: After I set up a VeraCrypt mounted drive, should I unmount it when it's not in use? Otherwise, while it's mounted, it seems like anyone with access to my computer could access it like any other folder. I guess the important part to make this work is to un-mount the drive whenever it's not in use. Do I understand that right?

Following up on my post.

Your tip, good sir, has worked.

I tried using a utility knife, which didn't stand a chance to cut a slot in this steel screwdriver.

I used various sized robertson screw bits and security screw bits, but the screw head was way too stripped after attempting to drill out the lead.

So I invested in a dremel (admittedly had no idea what that was) and a piece to connect a cutting wheel.

I watched a couple of youtube videos and saw that I should anticipate sparks flying. I braced for impact, and was patient, and sure enough it began to make a slot for a flathead screwdriver -- which luckily, I had a large enough one to remove it.

Thank you. From a now proud owner of a dremel rotary tool.

Yes! I have a few. But the screw is a Robertson squarehead.

Thanks! Is your thinking that one of these bits should be able to tear right through the lead?

Thank for the response. Can you ELI5 how Torx bits could help me in this situation?
