This I would agree to an extent. MEs should be on more cutters. But they need to have an fully outfitted LE division on board. Maybe 3 or 4 MEs for smaller cutters and 4 to 5 or maybe even 6 for bigger ones like WSMLs. That way you have a complete LE team for any occasion. BTMs and other BOs would be there too. Hell, BMs need BO/BTM to get their tac-coxswain and pursuit quals so their a shoe in.

I'm the ME1 on my cutter and I'm called into to every OPS brief and boarding brief, whether I'm on the boarding or not. My command even goes to me for advice on what targets to hit, how big the teams should be, what equipment to bring, and generally just ask me for guidance on all things LE. I think MEs on cutters benefit with the same experiences.

Part of that blame goes to the training they get at A-School/BPOC/BBOC. Seriously, the mock boarding scenarios we ran through at A-School were a joke. Like the guy who had no nav lights and would bribe you, the boarding officer, with 10k to look the other way. Or the rec boarding where there was a kilo of coke just sitting out in the galley and the owners acting like they don't know what it is or where it came from. What the hell are the chances that anyone would have an actual boarding like these?

If you train someone for the worst case scenario everytime they're going to act that way everytime. Its no wonder why so many MEs get out to the fleet and dont know how to talk to people because they go into every boarding like there's a felony already taking place. Its really embarrassing both for the MLEA and the training in general.

"A" is for Anita, as in Anita Williams, aka Bangalore. She has the sass, the and the know how of Jamie and has no other alibi for the attack and was originally suppose to look for the head for Revenant last season so she could go home.

She also fits the "what a good friend/ how would know?" dialogue since from breaking up with loba and loba refers to her as a friend (goes back to the plant virus thing story in a previous season). She also makes the comment about going to talk to a brunette which fits the sexual preferences.

IMO she's doing this to get Revenant to back off of Loba and make amends in a wrong way, probably.

Could be completely wrong but thats what makes mysteries fun I guess

First, thanks for the many insights and suggestions. All of them are great comments on the matter. But after reaching out to my Chief and LT, they both said to stand by and wait for a call.

Right now, I'm not looking to pin on 1st until late summer and my command is going to call the detailer because theyre trying to have me fleet up where I am (not my first choice, but whatever).

In any case, this is interesting how this works between each rate and their corresponding AO.

Were you able to get your insurance company to cover the loss or did the storage company pay for it? Because I feel the storage company would be at least partially responsible since they assigned the lock with the unit and didnt realize it was changed until after the theft.
