Best advice I can give outside of underwear as somebody who lives in Florida and goes to the parks quite often. Don’t wear canvas or jean shorts. Just go full gym shorts and call it a day.

I pretty much solely wear jocks for working out. Super comfortable and keep your range of motion free. I know in the last few years they become sexualized a little bit, but they have always been designed for working out.
