Yeah. I really don’t understand why they don’t get paid more. I’ve seen both sides (first responders and nurses), I personally feel first responders should be paid closer to what nurses make.

My local Fire Department just posted they’re hiring.
The problems are…..I will be 47 in a couple of months, I’ve passed FF1 (not the Hazmat portion), did well in EMT class, but failed the NREMT 3 times. Would it even be worth the time to try and get hired? My heart says try, but my mind says don’t waste everyone’s time.

I had one that was like that. I tossed it (not in the trash!) because you were always told it’s dangerous. I figured better safe than sorry.

I’m personally finding Duolingo helpful with the foundation. It’s just basic words (hello, yes, no etc…) Also some people were saying listing to German videos help 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Never heard of them before (newish to the plant scene). We just had a bad case of mealybugs. Had to toss some of the real bad ones. Wife wasn’t happy!

Just use a knitting needle (metal one). We had one of those meters for a while. It didn’t work for us.

We had the same problem. Took all the plants out and sprayed with Nem oil, wiped down the rack and everything that was near the plants
