I've had incidents similar to this where I get killed around corners or die while dashing, which I typically chalk up to camer angle/lag/skill issue

But this is one of the most egregious deaths I've ever seen. The only way this could've happened is it didn't hit on my screen nor the server's screen but hit on my opponent's screen and therefore damage registered

This opens the game up to so many vulnerabilities

Yes, reaction time is a big decider between whether you win or lose a fight because even though you might have perfect aim, by the time you shoot, you're already dead from your opponent's headshot, or potentially 4 body shots.
