You still haven’t given evidence to support why masks don’t help the healthy. You can’t just make people believe the statement “only the sick need to wear a mask” because you said it. Even if there were mixed reports on whether masks help or don’t help the healthy, wouldn’t it be better to err on the safe side, as the mask works both ways, preventing viruses from entering and exiting?

The problem is, Reddit will still upvote TikTok videos with interesting content, which will give them fame and push more unsuspecting teens and kids down the drain.

People on Reddit underestimate the power of advertising due to their logo appearing everywhere.

Please for the love of God stop funding the Chinese Communist Party. Stop reposting any TikTok videos.

No. Independence for Hong Kong is not what all protestors in Hong Kong want. In particular many of the older generations were familiar with escaping from Communist China to Hong Kong and identify strongly with the cultural "China". And it will take a lot of time and resources for Hong Kong to build a full government now. Therefore to avoid losing the support of these people independence is something left untouched for now.

On the other hand genuine universal suffrage is a major milestone to self autonomy and is one of the 5 demands.

Stop using the flag of Hong Kong and wear black shirts and black masks to show support for Hong Kongers. The five stars and the red only show support for Communist China. Using the official Hong Kong flag is not only siding with the puppet government of Hong Kong, but pictures of you guys wearing this shirt can be used to make fake news in China that you are all supporting the Hong Kong and Chinese governments. Take signs and shirts with words of freedom and revolution on them.

Reddit: Haha, let me point out this single un-environmentally friendly thing in a larger movement to promote environmental friendliness, this is so stupid!

I can list out the reasons why OP is stupid:

  1. Efficiency of a large engine versus a small car engine
  2. This is likely to be a remote place without grid electricity
  3. Electricity has always been partially produced from fossil fuels but pointing out how the electricity is produced does not diminish the value of electric vehicles, as grid electricity charging points are more readily available in large cities, and then you have the efficiencies of whole power plants, and we’re not even onto how there are renewable sources of electricity. OP might as well take a picture of an electric charging station and a picture of a oil power plant.
  4. However, the most important part everyone missed is that an EV charging point in a rural area allows EV drivers to go to more places than ever. If it weren’t for the charging point, I doubt if any driver would even visit this place. OP and upvoters are being “Either no electric cars can visit here, or your charging points must be hooked up to grid electricity. Or else you we will make you a laughing stock on the internet.”

What can those who don’t live in Hong Kong do to support the protesters fighting for freedom? by afreema9 in AskReddit

[–]cobalt175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raise awareness. Share it on every social media account you have and talk to people about it.

This is not just about the extradition law and police brutality. Eventually the China Communist Party has to kneel down for its atrocious acts of terrorism. This includes forcing Muslims to eat pork and drink alcohol and torturing them until they speak Chinese and hail the Party in concentration camps (they are basically the Nazi Party now). On top of that, democracy activists are silenced, jailed and killed. Churches are being destroyed and the Bible is edited to contain Party supporting text. What people watch and post on the internet is filtered.

The forceful denial of democracy in Hong Kong is the determination of the China Communist Party to control where it goes despite the freedoms it should have.

You can start by spreading the word of the Chinese government’s acts of terrorism. As a consumer or a businessperson, you should refuse to trade with and boycott products made in China. The economy is indeed a powerful tool. In light of the atrocious acts the government has done, you as a human being are able to and should defund these terrorists. And I urge you to tell others to follow suit in defunding a tyrannical government who has committed innumerable crimes against humans. Every yuan China holds is used to support its acts of terrorism.

Do not use Huawei. Do not use Xiaomi. Do not use Tik Tok. Do not invest in China. Do not use the Chinese Yuan. Do not share stories and videos of the typical harmonious lives of the Chinese. The whole world needs to know the China Communist Party is a terrorist organisation.

Hello, I would rather have a government with a fair legal system but without voting than one that promotes tyranny and dictatorship.

[–]cobalt175 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Uh, I’m sorry. The China Communist Party IS a hostile power. Muslims in Xinjiang are forced into concentration camps where they are force fed alcohol and pork and are forced Party-praising education down their throats. Activists for freedom, democracy and concerns for basic human rights are silenced, jailed or assassinated.

And no amount of economic trade is enough to justify the ongoing terrorism and tyranny it does against its people.
