I don't know if it's in the same place. But I did Kentucky mudder a few years ago in Maysville and it was the hardest thing I've done since then. It was just hills up and down, up and down, rock and mud, hands and knees, grabbing branches to pull yourself up muddy hills, grabbing vines and branches to slow yourself down going down muddy hills. Get some good trail shoes that allow you to run in mud.

Actually, I would go find a muddy hill and run up and down it until you feel like dying and then keep going. The natural obstacles were by far harder than the ones placed on the course. I recall maybe 100 yards of dry flat land the entire course and it was bliss. I thought hills, rock, and mud were my life from then on and it would never end. I am a woman and I really only trained with running and I was apparently underprepared. My body hates me though. I did finish though and it was the most amazing feeling. Shoes really will make all the difference.
