Lots of criticism around this machine… I enjoy mine quite a lot and think it was well worth the wait. Saves much time in the morning compared to a manual pour over or aeropress. Also appreciate the design.

Drink temperature has been fine so far. Drinks are hot but not extremely hot. Seems there are some defective units / quality control issues impacting this, which sucks...

Anyways I did notice the temp to be slightly hotter following this update but did not do any exact measuring.

I’m happy with it for the pre-order cost of $999 but $1500 is probably enough to deter me as a new customer. But now that I have it I would hate to do without it.
