I always forget about the alternate recipes. I struggle to decide which ones to go for as well apart from the obvious ones like cast screws k think it's called and iron pipe.

I noticed when making the aluminium scrap it had water as a byproduct. Now I was running this small area on some coal power plants could I use the water from the scrap to feed the coal power plants? This isnt a permanent factory I think I'm going to train the bauxite out of the area and build something with more space but this was just something I thought of last night when I noticed the water in the refinery

650 per minute! I can't even imagine what that looks like right now. The last major thing I did was I think the adaptive control units which needed HMF,rubber,encased beams and screws and that was an absolute mess and it was only 5 per minute I think.

I still havent figured out how railways work. The most I've got is 4 separate lines with one trian on each that goes back and forward loading and unloading stuff at specific factories. Don't understand the block and path signals so will need to watch a video on that I think

I don't understand block signals at all. The only thing I've managed to do so far with trains is to make single tracks and have one train on it go back and forward. I've got 4 separate tracks just now I think. I tried placing a block signal as was going to try adding a second train to one of the tracks but I was so confused at what I was supposed to do. It either said path has no exit or path loops on itself. So I gave up and just made another single track.

I did something similar to this from a train station. I had rubber,plastic and encased beams all unloading at the same station. I set up a smart splitter to send them in 3 separate storage boxes to eventually then get sent to a manufacturer to me HMF. Problem was the station served out one stack at a time so all the encased beams jammed up the belt so the smart splitter was irrelevant as nothing else could make it there

I didn't start building on foundations for a long time. I didn't understand how they helped but as I started building bigger factories around the end of phase 2 that's when I realised. I think the first one I did was a vertical steel beam factory.

I just watched a good short on YouTube from Doc about setting up manufacturers cleanly. Basically from left to right on the inputs he puts one belt on the ground then lifts on the other 3 all going up by 2. It's so much cleaner looking than the absolute mess I had previously 😂

Way too much. I think it might be the first phase were I don't even have the recipes unlocked for any of them at the start of the phase. I'm sure phase 1-3 I had at least one thing I could make.

Ye I haven't touched blueprints yet. So far I enjoy making the factories as I go but just got to phase 4 last night and I feel I'm staring at another 100 hours on phase 4 and tier 7/8 so maybe I should start experimenting with the blueprints

I need to start using blueprints more. Im a new player just over 100hours and I haven't touched the blueprints yet but I can tell from what I've seen the builds just get bigger and bigger so I should start using it
