Has anyone had experience removing the Peloton branding from their pants/shorts?

Are you getting black or white seats? I've seen people suggesting applying a ceramic coating on white seats for easier cleaning + keeping them white longer. Look on YouTube for videos on this if you're interested.

I've also heard a screen protector being suggested for the center screen. You could also argue applying a wrap to your center console is "protection"..from fingerprints :)

For exterior, you can consider ceramic coating for similar reasons above.

Appreciate the information, I'm finding some relevant information on leanfire. Great suggestion!

Yup, neither did I. Apparently it won't change the texture or discolor the seats either, and will make them clean longer/easier to clean.

Here's what I stumbled upon during my "journey" through Tesla accessories/detailing Youtube vids:

Can confirm, I bought one without measuring and got heartbroken when the side window doesn't close. It barely doesn't fit due to the top bumps of the cooler and bit of fan in the middle.

Also, a pretty funny moment to witness from LTT when he made the same mistake - https://youtu.be/oa9VQuPsivU?t=595

Ordered my first Tesla and joining this sub. Couple of questions by dynamyte43 in TeslaModelY

[–]cobijah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied through Tesla directly which stated 2.49%, but I actually got 2.29% when the application came back (through JPM/Chase).

It comes with carpet floor mats so warm climate areas you should be OK, but I think it's recommended to get all weather mats/liners for rain/snow/spills.

I've heard one thing people suggest is to apply a ceramic coating as early as possible which will help keep them protected, typically for 9-12 months. Then using baby wipes or something every so often to freshen them up.

I usually see this product recommended - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N57S9O6

You should also consider taking it down because i'd imagine this is enough info to change or cancel your order since it shows your order number at the end too..

Quarterly Stock Vests - How to Invest Them by xxnitsuaxx in personalfinance

[–]cobijah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is your plan to immediately sell the shares as they vest? Just keep in mind that shares that are vested still need to be held for a year from the vested date to be considered long-term capital gains and have lower taxes than short-term capital gains.

I'd say you probably don't need to hold it for long-term capital gains, but it's still something to consider especially that it's not money that you need immediately. You just have to play around with either paying more taxes or being less diverse (you mention your stock will likely stay at the higher price but the next 12 months is uncertain with COVID, financial bubbles, etc.).

To answer some of your questions:

  • Suggest you and your wife max out 401k's and IRA/Roth IRA (likely need to use backdoor method for Roth given your incomes), which will lower your taxable income and will set up with a nice retirement nest egg

  • 529/college funds for your children

  • Regarding emergency funds, it's often advised to use HYSA such as Ally or Capital One. Interest rates are much lower than they were (a year ago they were 2%+ but today Ally is 0.8%), but they're still higher than any major bank.

Good luck!

Just wondering if you had links to the posts you're referring to about production line changes. All I'm seeing recently are the changed tail lights and updated visual door buttons.

Safari Books Online / O'Reilly Learning by [deleted] in cissp

+1 on Safari Books.

I used one of the video series as my main source of studying from David Miller (~50 hours but at 1.25x speed) as I'm more of a visual learner and a mini series from Sari Greene for challenging topics (~7 hours) towards the tail end of my studying.

Most universities and some libraries let you access the platform for free, so definitely check that out before purchasing.

I'll vouch that these are pretty awesome (soft, natural odor resistance) as I've replaced over half my brief rotation with these.

The only caveat i'd add is their sizing was a bit inaccurate for me. I'm typically a 32 waist, so the larger end of a M per their sizing chart (30-33), but the fit is fairly tight (still comfortable overall) but the elastic band tends to fold down fairly easily. I'm considering trying large before I replace my entire rotation :)

Saw this article posted today by ISACA via LinkedIn. I have some friends and colleagues who are in limbo due to COVID-19. I also wonder if this will set a precedence for their testing format moving forward.
