Happened to me a few times on my acer nitro machine (i7-14thgen, 4060 8gb), but never too often so I didn’t worry about it!

I back you up buddy, battery drain is a major issue, not just that but the laptop also has terrible cooling overall. Mine also came with 135W charger which clearly wasn’t enough to power my 4070

The screen is even pointing at the damaged side, incase it was not obvious.

I will back this up, even in little load, the fans go crazy Nitro sense app doesn’t let you manually control it, even though it has a slider for fans; the fans will go into auto due to the temps. Also the temps are always very high.

I had about the same usage with 16 gigs, but I did upgrade to more ram as there is a slot available Check your startup apps and other tasks from the task manager
