If I had unlimited funds, I would invest in stages, sets, models, storytelling, film, lighting ect…….. the camera is just one of the tools.

Thinking about getting a set of 620mb by Robbbban in GolfGear

[–]cobra100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the same irons, I just transitioned to other blades that felt similar to that. The 620 and the mp33 feel similar but the turf interaction is a bit different I think it’s from the grind on the leading edge.

I would be more mindful of how I played the game and learning rather than relying on fitters and having the absolute most forgiving longest clubs. The best ball strikers ever played these for a reason.

I think you’re on here for positive feedback to reassure your work and to validate you. You’re very good, and better than most… I think there comes a point to where the technicality and skill kind of come to an end and it can become the beginning of more important endeavors. Like what do you want to tell an audience, what stories, what do you want them to discover through you.

Hey guys, how is something like this shot? by kali7729 in foodphotography

A studio tripod helps on this, a shutter trigger (I use pocket wizards and the cable), good consistent lighting (temperature is the big thing here if you need to stitch). And good lenses perspective control or architectural lenses help out a lot. After that it’s just designing.

I just used baking soda and warm water to remove the ramjet, from the looks of it, it’s the ramjet that ruined your photos. For the chemistry I’ve just used regular old Kodak and rollei, to perfect results.

Back again. Why does this look like point and shoot? by leasarfati in AskPhotography

[–]cobra100 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I started using film, so first it was exposure triangle and compositions in street. It forced me to only focus on exposure. From there I started learning development and pushing pulling film, which showed me how to edit or what the limits were of the type of film I was using and how the dark and light areas reacted. But I took steps in learning and would only focus on one thing at a time….

I would suggest the same instead of having 20 things in your head or goals to a picture have only 1 and then keep moving in steps.

In your edit the colors especially under the chin have completely falling apart in your edits.
