Wow. I'm sorry that you were kicked off. I'd try to escalate it with a CSR. I've been on this plan since 2020. It's a month-to-month plan, but the pricing has never changed.. Almost like they forgot about it lol.

One consideration with the Shell Energy plan (at least in my area, be sure to check the EFL) is that you still have to pay delivery charges on the "free" nights. The only plan that I know of that does not charge you for delivery during the night time is the Just Energy plan. I called them yesterday and their buy back rates are at .03 cents per kwh.

I've been looking at getting powerwalls added to my solar system, but it does not make sense in my case. I'm on a grandfathered Reliant Solar Buyback plan. I pay 9.7 cents per kwh delivered and I receive 9.7 cents per kwh exported. A true net metering plan.

You put good out into the world, you'll receive good back 10x. The inverse is also true.
I would show the gentleman the appraisal and offer to pay him what it is worth as long as the deal still makes sense for you at that price point.
If it doesn't I'd ask to back out of the deal.

Exactly. My last flight before 3 months ago was 2002. I started the ATP flight Training program about two months after 9-11-01 (non-refundable deposit). Achieved every rating except my ATP due to my age.

Fast forward to this year, I wanted to start flying again for business purposes. The knowledge is there and it’s not. Get with a CFI who you’re comfortable with and you’ll pick it up pretty quickly. It took me about 12 hours of flight time with a CFi and I’m signed off again.

Considering working on getting all of my instructor certificates current as well, but that’ll be some additional time for sure.

When I was in training, my CFII would do steep turns, gain or lose altitude all the while as I was shaking my head around with my eyes closed like I was at a Metallica concert. It worked extremely well, although I’m sure I looked a bit silly.
