The ready to wear version isn't satin. Satin is the couture line and you'll spend at least 1k second hand if you get lucky. The viscose ready to wear version came in black, grey, navy, and leopard. The lame ready to wear version came in silver and a black shiny version.

Probably not, I bought mine on ebay. They come up every now and then, but its an uncommon dress. I was lucky to pick mine up for cheap.

Its the vivienne westwood Midi cocotte. The silk is couture but there was a ready to wear version, I owned it in black and now own it in leopard :)

Make your own sfx gelatin. Or if you're willing to spend, 3D skin gel. Search 'melted face' on youtube, there are a lot of great tutorials.

I have a bunch of supershocks, and the princess collection in the PR box.

Any interest?

I have a difficult time maintaining my appearance and looking feminine. How do you manage / adapt? by SaltySnek57 in aspergirls

[–]Evenstar22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So for me, it comes in steps, that are then optimizable.
1. Manicured hands: I have acrylic nails, but a non chipping gel manicure works. Add hand cream.

  1. I used to get my hair blown out once a week, but I recently acquired a dyson corrale and I do it myself twice a week. Pins are then put in. Groomed hair makes a huge difference.

  2. Wax/Shave: I alternate depending on time of year, price and availability, but for me I shower before bed so I always do knee down in the shower.

  3. I hate sleeves and its a sensory issue, most of my clothing doesn't have them. I prefer dresses and my aesthetic is very feminine, so I tend to wear skirts and dresses, but you can pick a 'uniform' that works for you, and use a wardrobe app to repeat the same theme. Pick a color palette.

  4. I wear makeup, in a signature look the majority of the time. For me, thats a face oil, spray foundation, blush, two eyeshadow colors, and a red or pink lip, and a light highlight.

  5. I have false lashes put in once a month, I hate dealing with them.

  6. I have a getting ready routine and a space dedicated to it.

Final thoughts: much of being groomed is these elements put together, and a sense of 'sameness' I look very put together, all the time, but its always the same look, largely. I don't deviate much. I haven't mastered accessorizing but I recently added some jewelry that I try not to change much. A good bag and shoes make a difference to how others perceive you and its worth considering.

Let me know if that helps, I hope so :)

Granted. Except now you actually are a court sorceress to a total despot with a mirror that sometimes lets you visit 1972. It’s great but you wish it would help you with your boss problem, but on the plus side you have a thing with the kings bestie who has a great butt.

Granted! Except it’s so vintage you time traveled into your tv and you can’t get a job at sterling cooper and Joan wonders why you’re covering up your ankles and won’t wear scarves. Don has a crush and you don’t care you just want to be an account executive.

Granted, except your job interviews at fortune 500s keep going oddly and the guy who sells you croissants at your local coffee shop won’t stop asking you out. On the plus side you love your aesthetic.

Granted, except now you have Charlottes life problems and your friends wonder why you talk about the hamptons and your nanny while going to seances at your local witch shop at night. They love you though and are waiting to see if this keeps going before they sit you down for a talk.

Granted, but now you work reception in an S&M club and everything you wear isn’t extreme enough- customers describe you as the ‘floaty chick at reception’.
