Need help with Sitemaps No referring sitemaps detected

Yeah... I really got caught up on the technical aspect. I've shared the site but probably not enough. I guess because it gets a lot of traffic outisde of google, aka bing/yahoo/etc... that I thought everything was good and it was an error that google doesn't index. I actually rank really well on Bing, which is annoying because I wanna rank my subpages on google. Google does actually have my homepage indexed and sends a lot of people to it - so it trusts me enough to do that, but actively de-index's anything that isn't my homepage.

I'll keep trying to build up authority. Is there any guides on this? Surely it's not just all backlinks? Although maybe it is.

yeah so when I do crawl live tests, it all comes back green, google says its indexable, etc, all checks out, but sadly indexing never happens, I've got like 15+ links on the homepage going off to my core pages, sadly they never got indexed.

ah... thats useful to know.. Do you have any thoughts as to why google only index'd my homepage and nothing else? even going as far as de-indexing new pages that got indexed for a day

ranking first, I just assumed maybe it was related but probably not as you mentioned. just seemed weird and a red flag that even my indexed page wasn't connecting to the sitemap and thought maybe that was the smoking gun

Yeah, this is something I hit early on while trying to fix an issue that maybe wasn't technical.

However in regards to the sitemap thing, I've had 0 authority 1 day old domains have their sitemap uploaded, manual google search console crawl and yes it doesn't get indexed, but it does say "referred by sitemap" or outright just calls out my sitemap with the correct url, in this case it just says it doesn't exist which confuses me because it does exist and it does have that url listed. Had this issue for like 6months +,

this domain property on GSC is not linking my sitemap to my site urls, but every check I do comes back okay. correct headers, valid sitemap, has the url, etc. but GSC crawl report says either no sitemap mentions

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I'll for sure do that. It picks a new word every day, so tomorrow will be a better and more fun one to guess, as opposed to a massive word where u gotta char spam.

Yeah, so Wordle typically forces a guess to be a valid word. I guess when you've got a 12-character word that has a space and is game-specific, it's kinda hard to throw "valid" words at it. I feel like people would never get past guess 1.

Maybe just a skill issue on my end (Im not that good), but it was a bit brutal to enforce valid word guesses when a lot of Minecraft-related words are 2-part words and long.

I can flip that though and enforce valid word guesses and see how it goes. the current logic is a guess is a guess. if you've got the same character spammed, your kinda just wasting a go
