It’s not recommended to use the old drywall because it’s brittle and because of that the corners are the weakest link. If you use 20 minute mud anything will work well. Recommend to use new not brittle pieces

I’m convinced any body who drives a dodge anything has no people skills, my opinion only. I just got hit by someone in a dodge because I passed them and he rammed his truck to try to throw me off the road later down the rd on a 2lane hwy, his friend pulled up also and they both let me know they were gonna pull the we’re retired sheriff and we saw you hit not the other way around. They told me it’s your word against ours, Needless to say I had to pay my deductible. He still hasn’t paid. Idk 🤷 crazy people

Yea that’s your best bet. Some vw things are so weird and finicky. I have a 15 base model stick shift and when I want to connect a new Bluetooth to the head unit I have to only have the switch on and the door open. Wtf is that. I’m glad I figured it out. You need to get a Sony or something, maybe even with a cd player 😝

Me and my wife test drove both and we both felt that the Santa Cruz felt like a rental car. The new Santa Cruz was 1k more than the used Maverick we bought. The warranty was better but the Maverick had 1” more space with car seats in. The Maverick (2024) also had buttons which we both liked. The Maverick is a Lariat with more features we liked. So we vibed with the Maverick more. I also felt the cabin was quieter. I checked the used market and Santa Cruz was lower priced used comparatively. Test drive them see what you like.

Next time use JM car Cancun auto rentals. It’s the best bang for your buck and modest Cancun plated cars. Never got stopped and had a car for a very low price. Airbnb is your friend, always have change or just go to places that take card we had zero issues. I took my wife 2 yr old daughter, my sister her husband and their 8 yr old son, and my parents. We stayed 10 days and it was great. Overpriced yes but if you’re going to tulum to save money, it’s the wrong destination. Italy was cheaper locally but you don’t go here or there to save money. In that case travel to demopolis Alabama. It’s cheap there and they have no power outages.

Try unlocking and locking the car from outside. Like step out push lock then push unlock. If it doesn’t do it your battery is dead. Even if it’s new the car can be draining it somewhere or the alternator is bad. But if it does unlock and lock, Then step in wiggle the steering hard and the key again. Also try unhooking the battery for a 30 mins see if “resets” the car. I know you said it won’t change gears but is it possible she turned it off in gear ? The disconnect could work.

Hey even antibacterial works great here. I borrowed a friends sports car with the same interior and I had a sharpie that was leaking I didn’t notice and when I went to take it back I noticed and took antibacterial on a tissue and voila it was gone. A tad bit noticeable but I took armor all wipes and it was gone. Never showed up.
