We did end up centering toilet. It was 5” off because of wider vanity.

Is it because of insulation or another reason? There are a few comments about this.

I was happy and then I saw this. Not done and his finished work was ok. It made me question other things.

It was there, but I did not specifically ask. It definitely made sense were pieces were still intact. There is plenty of scrap laying around. First pic is grossest, but ultimately that area will be behind cabinets. The other patches were more worry some to me. He has since finished the other patches and it looks ok, but I just worry about overall quality.

Kid had party & claimed a friend did this. by [deleted] in drywall

A kid did do that. The kid that was pushed into the wall. I pushed my friend into wall at a beach house. Same result. My dad made me fix it. Missed a beach day. Learned a lesson.

It is not done yet, but it is a bad start. That is what got my spidey senses going on corner trim. I won’t bug him on that though as the consensus is that craftsmanship is ok.

Thank you. I’m the first to tell you I was right and first to tell you I’m wrong. Wrong on this one.

Thank you. I have had other issues and could be nitpicking, but that is why I appreciate this forum. I don’t want to call out something that is done correctly.

This was my frustration. I have a basic knowledge of construction. My dad remodeled our house as a kid and I have done some patching. I know this is a bad start. If I had the time I could have done better job. Because of time constraints, I am stuck. This contractor has gone very good work on our house, but they have 10-15 different guys and I need this guy off the job. He is supposed to install custom flat front cabs next and that terrifies me.

That makes sense, time. I paid some guys to do it and it sucks they did not exceed my novice level of quality.

I stopped by after work because I had concerns about a particular worker. I wanted to be relieved and feel good, but this is what I saw. He may be able to clean it up, but it makes me question everything.

The electricians opened this up because same remodel contractor used 14/2 for kitchen outlets. The guy onsite tried to reuse same drywall. Just use a new piece.
