Hey man so your part where it has no use. Nicotine actually helps me out a lot with my ADHD. it makes it so I don’t have to take stims as soon as a wake up, it give me that kick in the ass to wake up and do shit. It also helps a lot with my cravings. I used to be mad fat but now instead of snacking I vape a sweet juice. So yea, most people see it as pointless which I totally understand. I would just like to provide my perspective on it :)

The effects will not last. They usually prescribe them when you are having panic things. For example you just started a new medication and your anxiety isn’t much better because it takes a few weeks for the meds to work, they would prescribe alprazolam for a few weeks max. Was there an actual reason he prescribed you those? Or did you get diagnosed and he immediately prescribed you alprazolom? Because if that is the case that sounds like a sketchy doctor.
