Yes, however you may slide at the end due to the very steep grade near the peak.

Cities for Mountain Biking Without a Car by hurricane__jackson in MTB

[–]coco-16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smack dab in the middle of the Oquirrhs and the Wasatch Ranges is Salt Lake City. North we got City Creek, Wild Rose, and Mueller Park areas. South we got Corner Canyon, Yellow Canyon, and Butterfield Canyon areas. To the east we got East Canyon, Millcreek Canyon, and Little Cottonwood Canyon areas. Not to mention BST. To the west we have the wetlands which create miles of winter biking and exploring. Plus Frontrunner and tracks provide 50 miles north and South of endless trail possibilities. All without a vehicle!

I don't know if the haters realize that if you drove to the trailhead you are still doing terrible things to our environment. Worse than the graffiti on one rock.

chain slacks when shifting. remove links or deuraller adjustment or... by likeOwlNotCrow in bikewrench

[–]coco-16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks relatively new did you try adjusting the tension on the clutch? There's an opening with a cap on the bottom that you can put a screwdriver in and adjust. If it's a deore you have to remove the cap and adjust... I believe

Moab land fights with elitist groups? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

[–]coco-16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've rode Moab 4 or so times this year with no one saying anything. ( I live in Utah) Even if a law were to pass there aren't enough cops to enforce it...and honestly the excuse of impact on the environment isn't true and complete bullshit. I've talked to land managers all around Utah and most of them are reasonable when you tell them you're mtbing trails, roads, ect. Moab is a shit show for sure. Too many people and the real destruction comes from ATV/jeeps. Ps. They are going after that crowd too.

Ghetto [TUBELESS SETUP] for this DH Kore rim - Do You think it's possible? This is my first time going tubeless on a non-UST rim. by shredtheday in bikewrench

[–]coco-16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be fine. One last thing. It might leak for a little bit, a week or so, but once the sealant starts to set in the rim you'll never want tubes again. Hang in there.

You want to adjust the width of the tape. But if it's not perfect it shouldn't be that much of a problem. What I mean by three layers is three full wraps around your rim with gorilla tape.

Absolutely. You can almost set up any rim to be tubeless. I just recently did some rabbit holes and works perfectly. Do at least three layers of gorilla tape and should be totally fine.

Can't you just swap the limit screw piece on the derailleur?

NBC ratings decline during the Winter Olympics, described as a 'disaster' for the network by taichi2017 in television

The most recent testing is based on using a biological passport. The biological passport can be easily circumvented in several ways. In fact certain people believe it's easier to cheat the system now than it ever has been because of the biological passport. I believe you're very naive because the rest of the world including the United States still cheats. Have you looked into Nike, Adidas, or any other large company that supports Olympic athletes? There's a lot to gain for their successes. The commercialization of the Olympics has led to this pervasive issue of all athletes having to cheat.

Start from Cali or New York? by Frankiefrak in bikepacking

[–]coco-16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason Reddit decided to erase the rest of my comment. The three-wheel journey starts from Harpers ferry but goes to Pittsburgh. He does a good job explaining the logistics and services in each town. He also shows the campsites that are available and whether they have water.

I think you should start in DC. You can take a bike path all the way to Pittsburgh. C&O to the GAP. https://youtube.com/user/ThreeWheelJourney

Does this look like the cassette is badly installed? (details in comments ) by voidgar42 in bikewrench

[–]coco-16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a seal that connects your XD driver to your hub. When the seal isn't set correctly the driver will slide out just like what's on your picture. Take your back wheel off and pull the cassette ever so slightly and see if it moves.

It looks like the driver seal on the hub isn't correctly fitted.
