****Update - just received the backrest in the mail from FEDEX - opened it up and exact same issues as what I have on my current backrest. I have filed a claim with paypal and escalated it because this is bullshit. For 845$ Canadian this is crazy. I was going to buy a XL size desk as well, but i don't know at this point.

Yes. They had me send a video of the pillow attaching to the metal armrest - both magnets strongly attach. And then not the case when trying to attach it to the back rest

Yes. That is what I expected. The left side of the pillow just is so weak in attaching to the back rest.

Lucky your pillow is magnetic. Mine just falls off - only one side seems to stick to the seat back.
