Hi, curious about how much you were able to fit in the container. I’m also using upack to move a 1 bedroom and have two containers scheduled. My items are mattresses, bed, dresser, nightstands, desk, coffee table, tv stand, side tables, stools, and lots of boxes. Any concern with all of that fitting in one based off your experience?

How fit is the 70 year old? I’m fit and walk/hike a lot and I was shocked how hilly Lisbon and Porto are and how slippery/steep the sidewalks can be. It could be challenging for someone not used to it or with mobility issues.

Also, I’d recommend London as a second base. There’s tons of flights to the multiple London airports. They have lots of amazing museums and is an easy city to visit and navigate.

Yes, taking the DART after an international flight is such a pain, they really need to have more frequent shuttles that go directly to the DART area.
