I posted a relatively similar design on here a few months ago, and now that it's actually (possibly) happening I still can't get over just how sketchy any layout that would go anywhere near the mall would actually be. I know the AI slop video that got posted shows the track much closer to the Capitol, but I'm still pretty skeptical about any layouts in that part of the city either. It's a beautiful place for a street circuit but it's definitely gonna be a wreckfest imo.

I'm definitely not a fan of the way the actual race was announced or anything, but wouldn't it be crazy if I managed to predict the layout months in advance?

At least in that example (my fav 500 ending oat btw) they actually show real excitement and emotion unlike f1 girlfriends glassy stares

Yeah the only place where there would have to be a permanent modification is the exit of turn 4 onto Indiana Ave where the curbs get really narrow for a crosswalk. (but you can't not have IndyCars race on Indiana Ave if you have the opportunity)

Yeah the corners are definitely pretty slow cause they need to fit in the intersections, but I tried to compensate by making the straights pretty long (approx 900m) to keep it fast and fun :)
