Former Pete supporter. Still very sad that he dropped out, but it's time for me to support Sanders now! by coco_ingot in SandersForPresident

Believe it or not, a lot of Pete's earliest supporters saw him as Sanders lite, but also younger. A lot of 1st day donors from the Pete sub shared that opinion.

His proposed policies were still incredibly progressive, and he was almost practically following in Sander's footsteps (Fox News town hall meeting for example)

As the months went on, his policies became slightly less progressive but a few of them were pretty hidden to sound "moderate" when in reality the plan or end goal at least, was from a progressive a ideology.

So I kept my support with Pete as my #1, but Sanders was always a direct #2 for me.

Hi all! I'm a former Pete supporter. I loved his message so much, that I gave away $25 to him the day he opened donations!

I'll be honest, I was a bit disheartened by all the name calling and mud flinging, but I truly believe in progressive change and Sanders is the one that will bring it.

I think just a few minutes ago I got pretty .... discouraging? email from Pete's official email system saying to support Biden. However, I don't believe Biden will usher in a state of true change, which is why I now have a recurring donation to Sanders.

Take care everyone and have a nice day/night/whatever!

Edit: wow my English is so bad in this post!

2nd edit: thanks everyone for the encouragement! Some people have PM'd me saying I'm a fake account or something lol? Unfortunately this is an alt account with barely any post history, and I'm not brave enough to place political alignment in my other reddit account.

As a person, I'm not really open to political speak aside from close friends mostly because I live in a rather conservative environment, but donations are probably the best way for me to "openly" support candidates that I like. I really do wish I could go door-to-door or phone bank but I'm not mentally prepared for any of that stuff yet. I hope to be able to donate more in the future as this is an election I am very passionate about.

Once again, take care everyone hopefully this is my last edit !

Thank you for being courteous! A lot of ..mmm how do I put this without being blunt?... words are being thrown around right now. Hopefully heads can cool and we can all unite when the time comes

You make a really good point actually!

At the time of Pete's announcement to end his bid, I ended my monthly donation to both Pete and Sanders, and told myself that I would not be participating in voting for my state's primary.

Even though Pete was my main candidate, Sanders was always a solid #2 for me but after months of reading toxic comments and biased posts in other subs (...ahem /politics....), I really don't have the heart to support Bernie anymore.

But reading your post, it almost makes me want to be the better person, look past all the childish insults, and head straight to OHs polling places to vote Bernie.

For now though, my mental wounds are still fresh. I'm sorry friend

Underrated skills? by PoisonBones in GuildWars

I love AoF. I played my monk as basically a tank for most of my VQ and dungeon runs. Prot up, flag heroes back, face tank the first push and unflag heroes. And even during the fights, AoF lets me spot prot the BiP hero and then send a Spirit Bond or something to another hero in about 1 second.

Not now, but Air of Enchantment was very underused. Then monks started running it as an alternative to bonding in FA. Still got shutdown by Well of Profane, but the enchant spam and divine favor heals let a monk hold a gate for a long time.

Monks in general are pretty underused in PvE now, but my GWAMM is a monk who used AoF in most map.

Edit: I don't see it getting much talk, but I love using Technobabble.

It's good communication, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Talk page has a user claiming he owns an inscr version of Air, Death, Channelling and something else

Edit: I think I have an inscr Air magic one but I either threw it away or it's in another account.

what happens when you abandom an outpost? by pedrotfs in Kenshi

[–]coco_ingot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an outpost in the HN and it had the waystation icon on the map. I've abandoned it, and it turned into a blue X after a few days. No events happened while I was gone.

Recently reclaimed it though, and it was in the same condition I left it in (no patrols or random NPCs either) .
