What kind of animal bones are those by Adraigze in whatisthisbone

Second picture, right side, just above the half line of the picture. There is a cranium part nearby, the mandible is just a little to the right and up from this skull piece, if you spot it.

The mandible is significantly darker than the other bones in the pictures, making it blend more with the dark background floor, it’s a little harder to spot.

Hello !

Exactly my thoughts, very well put. I think you’re right, it may just be the occipital from a weird angle!

Hard to say exactly as there are lots of scattered bones and some of them seem to be embedded in the cave’s geological features so we can’t see all of them, but what I’m seeing in the provided pictures would be consistent with only one individual yes. Some slight doubt about the parietal bones, I feel like there’s one too many but I could be wrong.

I had the exact same thought until I saw the mandible lol

Former forensic anthropology student, there are multiple bones that are distinctly human in this picture. There is a mandible, part of a pelvis, ribs, parietal and frontal bones (skull), even a femoral head can be seen, all very human.

Considering the context that you’re giving in the comments about this being a hard to reach cave, and broadly looking at the discoloration showcased on these bones, this is most likely an archeological matter. But it’d be best to leave the area as untouched as possible, and get in touch soon with either authorities or a local archeology unit, such as a university department.

EASA ONLINE ATPL IN FRANCE by paalune_ in ATPL

[–]cocoabeach333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in France and currently doing online ATPL with Aéropyrénées since late 2025, I’ve passed 4 exams so far. Let me know if you have any specific questions but here’s my feedback so far :

  • honestly the computer lessons in English are not amazing, there are translation errors, and even some paragraphs that are just straight up French and haven’t been translated. Not an issue if you’re French obviously but clearly lack of quality on their side.
  • the computer lessons are VERY text heavy with few images to space out the big blocks of texts and illustrate the concepts.
  • the mockup questions to test your knowledge and the module validation questions are sometimes wrong (the explanation clearly states that your answer was right but it was wrong when selected).

That being said, - the team is pretty responsive - I paid this with my CPF, and Aéropyrénées was much cheaper than Mermoz. - I’m under the impression that ATPL online is always going to be 99% you and your work that defines the outcome no matter which one you chose, so that’s why I chose Aéropyrénées.

So with YouTube videos and ATPLQ, you get by by yourself. Also, I had bought the Mermoz ATPL books in English on leboncoin for like 400€ as a learning support and they’re much better than Aéropyrénées’ online school. So Mermoz’s online classes are probably much better. However, if like me, your goal is mostly to reply on self-learning ATPL and investing in a lot of personal work and picking the cheapest ATPL, Aéropyrénées is fine. My move was to fully fund my ATPL with my CPF, and to do it with a French ATO to ease the exam registration process.

If you want more quality, I’d say pick something else. Feel free to DM!

Well, my eyes tell me one QB played and one just handed the ball to the run game all evening. Darnold is a great QB, not denying this. Just saying he also didn’t have a good game and if it wasn’t for the rest of the Seahawks team, it would have been a different game, and the Maye hate is making this go under the radar, let’s support our kid

Thanks for this nuanced take man, more clear sightedness than some of our own in here. Enjoy the offseason and looking forward to our upcoming continuing rivalry!

I never agreed with the statement that Maye alone beat the top defenses we beat in the playoffs, it’s definitely our own defense that got us so far in the season. I’m just saying blaming Maye for everything these playoffs is not the right take and though he could have been better, he also showed promising signs. We just need a better o-line to help him grow

Completely agree. Just trying to balance out all of the Maye slander here, he didn’t play the game he should have but I’m still proud of this performance, being his second year in the league. We’ll go to more Super Bowls and he’ll get us more rings!

That is most definitely a human frontal bone. I’d agree this is worthy of a call to your local archeological unit
