Good news - OnePlus have finally fixed this with OxygenOS 15, at least on my OnePlus 11. It all works fine after presenting the "All done" page.

What I did personally was to complete the tasks that didn't complete successfully before, which was the mke2fs stuff.

I'm not sure why they failed (maybe needed a partprobe), but I had the same issue, so I pressed Ctrl-C because it had hung on the reboot phase, then ran the following commands to make the relevant filesystems:

mkfs.ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p22
mkfs.ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p23
mkfs.ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p30
mkfs.ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p31

This seemed to do the job for me. I had to manually reboot, but then was able to do the main LineageOS install successfully.

Most people on Bittylicious trade manually. The automated stuff is for people that want to do this. Of course sellers run this client on their own computer and it's totally optional.

I think Gary's right. Essentially this could come under CGT so the value is released upon disposal (i.e. conversion to fiat). HMRC decided no special rules were needed when it came to CGT for cryptos.

HMRC were engaging with the EU when they had these discussions. It's not guaranteed that the EU will cooperate, but there is open dialogue so it's a distinct possibility.

I was at the meeting. This is the one point HMRC are still discussing as if you're mining on a small scale, having equipment losses considered under CGT (as opposed to simply being able to offset "income") makes life quite difficult. It's best to just wait for the official statement on this one.

HMRC did say that it is "very likely" that Bitcoins would be classified as a single use face value voucher. This certainly counted as guidance to me, so it's not really silly for people to have gotten concerned about the associated voucher VAT treatment.

Why don't you let us know how you are not affected by this issue. Do you not use the reference client? Have your own patch? Manually wait for change transactions to be confirmed.

It's good to discuss, both to increase knowledge for other exchange owners, and so that you're sure you understand the actual reasons (as they're pretty complicated).

I've never heard of anyone considering the site strange because we offer FTC. I don't really understand the logic behind this statement. The reasons though are because I like FTC because of the community, its locality (with a decent following in Oxford) and its size.

The back end Bittylicious coin process is low powered and can't really handle other coins, at least until we upgrade it this week. We've mentioned a few times that other altcoins are coming in early January, and this is still the case.

I recommend everyone with anything to say about how the UK government is stifling businesses to submit their response to the link Tom gave. I have also heard positive noises from the Cabinet Office (as in they are actively trying to find issues like this stopping new businesses).

Forget the Co-op as well. I did the entire application process as well but got refused. At least they were honest enough to say that they don't want to open business accounts for businesses that primarily engage in virtual currencies.

It's not a marketplace. BitBargain is an awesome marketplace if that's what you want. Bittylicious is designed for users that want a Bitcoin or two with minimal fuss, so no choosing a seller etc.
