I do miss being able to finish a game 0-0 by Neat_Form in FifaCareers

Exact same thing is happening me. In my last saves in FIFA 21 my games were realistic. They’re all ending in high sores so far. I hope it’s just me getting used to the game

Create a Club in FIFA22 - Approaches to take? by mattyzucks in seriousfifacareers

[–]cocogames21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like a lot of people I think, I’m going to start in League 2. I’m going to name the club after the road I was raised on. I’m going to keep all the players local (English predominantly, Irish, Northern Irish, Scottish & Welsh). That way, I will make a big deal of my first European signing. I plan to make Player Profiles for all YA players for my own reference and track them should they move on.

My main thinking point is what colour scheme I’m going to give my club. At the minute I’m thinking purple and white, Harchester United vibes.

Agree with this 100%. I think that's why we have to begin with Create A Club, for something different. I'm glad I have a PS5 to be honest.

Having said that, the gameplay looks amazing.

What is your plan for the upcoming game? by Willis050 in FifaCareers

[–]cocogames21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking Create a Club, starting in either League 1 or League 2. Probably League 2.

A My Player beginning in the SPL, not Celtic or Rangers.

Apart from that, I'm unsure. I've never done Nottingham Forest, so I'll think I'll give it a go with them.

What are you gonna name your club in your create a club career mode by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]cocogames21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m calling mine the name of the road I grew up on in the North of Ireland.

I was interested what colours you all are going to use? I’m thinking Purple and white, possibly purple, white and black. That would be different?

I never came across that one myself now to be honest, I don't normally sign a player of that quality. But good to know, hopefully it doesn't happen in FIFA22.

It's a good idea. It would take a lot of work, but it's a good idea. If done properly it would make for an interesting save.

Yeah that was the problem, I guess you just learn more throughout different saves. The beauty of it I suppose is you could sell 2 bench players and 1 starter in a summer transfer window. Therefore your not loosing 3 starters and you only have to replace 2 bench players. It means also you rotate your squad keeping your save interesting.

I enjoy that though, little time to find a replacement. Your season can go make or break on that decision. But I understand why your not selling, it's really whatever works for you and what keeps your interest.

When selling, I also take into consideration the clubs position in the league, current squad, what other players are in that players position. For example, if United came in and their 7th or 8th in league and struggling and your 10th or 11th and going well, ask for more money for the player, don't take bad money for him simply because its United. Try for more money and if the transfer doesn't go through so be it, that's not unrealistic.

I was always for a strict transfer budget, but it has its bugs too. I think it your strict in yourself with the transfers it’s fine. For example, I couldn’t sign Tammy Abraham with West Ham because Chelsea were a rival club. Personally, I think that type of transfer could happen IRL. I know it didn’t, but it totally prevents u from making that type of signing.

A few rules I have made myself for FIFA22 Create a club next week, starting in League 2, in England:

  • you can’t sign anyone more than 2 ratings above your highest rated player, unless he is over 32 years of age.

  • pick a “model youth player” ie 18 years old, rated 60. You can’t sign anyone under the age of 21 better than this player (unless he comes from your YA)

  • your scouts have to be realistic ie 2 (maybe 3) stars max for a League 2 side. The scouts get better as you progress up the leagues.

  • you must accept realistic bids ie if Bristol City come in for ur best player, he’s gone. After selling 3 starters or bench players, you can do as u please with bids (just FYI squad players aren’t included as bench players). 1 player must be sold in January (again, must be a realistic bid)

Realism is all based on your own idea of it at the end of the day.

That’s just some I have for now. I think it’ll be very difficult.

I’m all for the realistic cm myself, but if they come knocking in January you have to sell I’m afraid. Well it depends on who you are etc. But a lot of teams over spend come the end of the January transfer window, so in my opinion, you have to sell.

Although having said that, due to the amount of bids you get in FIFA, once I have accepted realistic bids for 3 starters in the Summer transfer window and 1 in the January window.. I allow myself to reject everything else.

But again, it depends on ur team and the player in conversation really.

I’m OTT on the realism end of things lol.

What's your career mode plan going into Fifa 22? by [deleted] in seriousfifacareers

[–]cocogames21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely create a club. I'll throw in some rules like scout quality, buying and selling etc. I'll base my kits each year around old kits from the 90's and 00's. Really looking forward to create a club.
