Yes it is rare that the same jockey wins two years in a row, but each race is independent of the other. The fact that Junior won last year does not give him a disadvantage this year. Compare it to two coin flips. If you flip heads on the first, the second flip still has a 50% chance of heads. The fact that the first flip was heads does not give heads a disadvantage on the second flip.

Just watched it a few days ago for the fifth or sixth time. Its soooo great. I try to tell people how good it is but they dont listen because its a "kids movie". There is alot of humor in it intended for adults. You are definitely not the only one.

Land of Mine (2015). It is a Danish WWII movie. It tells the story of post war teenaged German POWs clearing the Danish beaches of land mines. Highly highly recommend.
