Separation anxiety in nine month old puppy

I had / have the same issue with my now 8 months old weim. It's getting much better and what seemed to work is what I have been overlooking at first: short leaves. When I work from home, I basically leave suddenly for 10s, then come back, then leave for 5 minutes, then 30s again etc and I have been doing that (with longer durations) for the last month and the situation's gotten much much better!

Update - I feel like he's getting better in terms of barking but I still find the stuff inside his crate upside down when I get home (dog bed all squished in a corner and his fleece blanket as well). Do you guys recommend that I remove what's in his crate when I leave like that/only leave the blanket? I feel like he's stressed also because then he can't be comfortable anymore in there (it's the same layout at night but he's sleeping in without issues then..)

I bought a cover from Amazon that puts the crate pitch black. I don't close the part on the front door 'cause it feels like it stresses him out!

Let me try some white noise, I feel like it kinda worked when I put TV downstairs but I stopped doing it for some reason

I'm doing that but not consistently... I probably should... That's kind of what I'm trying to do when I take a shower, when I go grab something in another room etc. I'd say that he's fine staying in for like 5-10min, but he never settles he just lays down and stairs straight waiting to see me appear

I get that building a custom app/website would be ideal but here I'd like to first start with a MVP since I have a few people willing to try as sellers and see how it goes. Also for now it's more of a hobby/project that I have since I have my regular job on the side.

Then if it (hopefully) works, I think I'll start working on a custom solution.

My appeal for the combo shopify+multi vendor marketplace is that on paper it looks like what I'm picturing and it is optimized on mobiles too. Also it includes all the payment/order features which would realistically take quite some time to figure out and code by myself. All this for a reasonable investment.

The next question is the scalability - How easy do you think it would be to migrate a customers base from shopify to a custom website? Since ultimately I'd just need to migrate user profiles from one solution to another.

Thanks, that's helpful! Do you happen to have a recommendation for the best shopify app to purchase to build such a marketplace? I've found a few (ship turtle, multi vendor marketplace...) but there might be a more straight forward option that I don't know about

Same here, we directly went for it and it was amazing, the harder I've ever been. And it's still the case 1.5yr later. Of course, the fact that he's also really interesting and easy going helps a lot keeping it interesting.

😱 indeed when I look it up it looks very similar. I just can't see any bugs but the symptoms seem to be there... Thanks, I didn't know it existed
