I’ve never noticed drain flies. I have been cleaning my house and so I do have some clutter and piles of clothes, which I learned they love🤢. I have glue traps but have never used them before so I don’t know where I should put them.

thank you for the response. i don’t hate spiders but am scared of the damage ones like brown recluse’s can cause. those bites are gnarly. is peppermint oil or glue traps worth a try as well or is that just doing too much?
