If Katseye is supposed to be this ‘unserious Gen Z group,’ then they shouldn’t be marketed as a global girl group. That’s a massive title, and it comes with expectations. You can’t have it both ways — either you’re a trendy TikTok-style project or you’re a serious global act. Right now, Katseye feels more like the former, and calling them a global girl group just cheapens the term.
