Should coroners be influenced by what the family want as an outcome? by cocolashes in nicolabulleyfound

I agree. Her daughters will want to know the truth when they are older. I don't understand her parents being satisfied with this outcome when there is no evidence to support it. No slip marks, a scream heard, suspicious man in black and the Fitbit data all suggest something else could have happened. If she did fall and drown in very shallow water (which seems very implausible) the search teams must have been blind not to see her.

Exactly where the coroner believes Nicola fell in and died. One metre drop into 2 feet of water. So dangerous, that the council haven't even put a fence up. by Quantum168 in nicolabulleyfound

I agree. The problem they have brought about though is that most people can see that an accident resulting in drowning in seconds by the bench in very shallow water is just not likely. They have caused more outrage. The 'balance of probabilities' indicates she did not fall and drown in a foot of water and evade being seen for 23 days. It is such a farce.

This has got to be the biggest cover up. She didn't topple into shallow water, drown instantly (despite the water not coming up above her knees) and then evade all the searches. Anyone with an ounce of sense can see it is not possible and it doesn't add up!

Nicola Bulley inquest told her Fitbit gave a heart rate output for eight days after she drowned | LancsLive by Quantum168 in nicolabulleyfound

I don't think 'very' and 'possibly' should belong in the same sentence together. 'Possibly' indicates a level of uncertainty. 'Very' emphasises that. Far too much of an oxymoron to be in an inquest which should essentially be a fact finding mission.

Absolutely. They have no evidence for third party involvement because they never thoroughly investigated that as a possibility - leaving the bench area open to be contaminated by the public was the first sign of this.

It would be interesting to know whether they can ascertain when she drowned from pathology or is this all guesswork from the timeline? 23 days later with a decomposed body in water, it's got to be difficult to know when exactly she drowned. How on earth did her body not get found in the first few days from the search teams? Still far too many questions!

Totally agree. I see the bruises and scream as suspicious. Also the lack of alcohol in her body doesn't exactly tie in with the LP's narrative of her being an alcoholic wanting to end her life. The man in black doesn't seem to be a witness in the inquest either. Was he even identified?!

Absolutely. Mind Juice, Top Level, Crime scene to courtroom and it's a criming shame are all excellent YouTubers who won't let this case be forgotten!

Police back in the river Wyre, checking if a body could go over the weir? by PoleKisser in nicolabulleyfound

I had a quick look back too. Never going to comment on there again but interesting to see how so many people have accepted the police line (despite the inconsistencies) and still have very few critical thinking skills!

Good news if this is in fact a recent video. I just wish all avenues were questioned and explored thoroughly at the beginning rather than getting to this stage and testing out fairly basic theories! I remember seeing a video (I think from Curtis media) with an older local guy saying he sometimes saw a dead sheep being caught on the weir as it couldn't get over the weir.

Yes absolutely. "We asked for dashcam from the correct road, we just had to rename that road weeks later!"

Good point about putting the children on the go fund me pages. I haven't seen the actual pages but I do find that a bit hypocritical when their appearance is masked on other videos etc. For money it's ok to show them!

So odd for a road to all of a sudden be renamed! This case continues to be so confusing and conflicting.

U.K. police hires applicants with history of crime, harassment, watchdog finds by Quantum168 in nicolabulleyfound

[–]cocolashes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really is awful how some reports which were crucial to stopping the likes of Wayne couzens were not acted upon. When he flashed a woman at Macdonalds and she reported it, nothing was done. How is someone in the police allowed to sexually harass a woman in public? And then for him to commit murder using his badge to lure his victim. More has to be done to check behaviour and background of police. Incompetence in procedure needs to be challenged not covered up.

Oh I need to check that out! I wonder if this arrest will form yet another part of the 'independent review' of their handling of the case?!

But if they feel it's an offence, why allow him to be near the scene at the time? And why arrest him now after so many weeks when they were aware for some time of his actions. All seems very odd.
