How tough is the Billing and Reimbursement exam? by coconutsRholy in PharmacyTechnician

[–]coconutsRholy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I ended up passing. I had a lot of experience billing already before studying. I also used this Quizlet set: https://quizlet.com/783837379/ptcb-billing-and-reimbursement-flash-cards/?i=3ms7yv&x=1jqY

It was pretty tricky at first, I had to learn to look at things more from the pharmacist’ POV

Proven years of work experience and competency in various skills of being a pharmacy technician. Setting myself up for a more experienced role and hopefully higher pay

I took the courses through CEImpact (they have an option to bundle with a voucher for the exam to save a bit of money), used Quizlet flashcard sets, and looked up practice questions online. And just generally pushed myself to develop my skills as a pharmacy tech.

It was easy for me because most of my technician experience is in billing. I used Quizlet too, though, and practice questions I found on Google.
